How to install IPTV on Firestick, step by step

Works on the Fire TV Stick Lite, the regular Stick, the 4K, the 4K Max and the Cube. Allow about five minutes.

Short answer

Install the Downloader app, allow it to install apps, use it to install an IPTV player, then sign in with the Xtream Codes details from your order email.

Before you start

  • Your order email with the server address, username and password.
  • The Fire TV remote and a working internet connection.

Step 1: install Downloader

On the home screen go to Find › Search, type Downloader and install the orange app.

Step 2: allow app installs

Open Settings › My Fire TV › Developer options › Install unknown apps and switch Downloader on. If you do not see Developer options, go to My Fire TV › About and click the device name seven times.

Step 3: install the player

Open Downloader and enter the download address for the player that support sends you. Install it, then choose Done and delete the installer file to free space.

Step 4: sign in

  1. Open the player and pick Login with Xtream Codes API.
  2. Enter any name, then the username, password and server URL exactly as in your email.
  3. Wait for live TV, movies and series to load.

If something goes wrong

  • Login failed: check for a missing http:// or a typo in the server address.
  • Buffering: move to 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a wired adapter.
  • App missing after an update: repeat step 3; your login stays valid.
