How to set up IPTV on Firestick, Smart TV, Apple TV and more

What you receive after ordering

Your order email contains two kinds of login. Use whichever your app asks for:

• Xtream Codes login: a server URL, a username and a password. This is the easiest option and loads the guide and the movie library automatically.
• M3U playlist link: a single long URL that contains the full channel list. Some apps only accept this format.
• MAG portal: on request, for MAG boxes that log in by device MAC address.

Fire TV Stick, Stick 4K and 4K Max

1. From the Fire TV home screen, search for Downloader and install it.
2. Open Settings › My Fire TV › Developer options and allow Downloader to install unknown apps. If Developer options is hidden, open About and click the device name seven times.
3. In Downloader, enter the download address for the player app that support sends you (IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate are the usual picks) and install it.
4. Open the player, choose Login with Xtream Codes API, and enter the server, username and password from your email.
5. Wait for channels, movies and series to load. On a 4K Max this takes under a minute.

Samsung and LG Smart TVs

1. Open the TV app store (Samsung Apps or LG Content Store) and install a player such as IPTV Smarters Pro, IBO Player or Smart IPTV.
2. Some players show a device ID or MAC address on first launch. Send it to support, or enter your M3U link on the player’s website as instructed.
3. Restart the app and the playlist appears.

Android TV, Google TV and Android boxes

1. Install IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate from the Google Play Store.
2. Add a playlist with the Xtream Codes option and your login.
3. In TiviMate, set the EPG to update daily so the guide stays current.

iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

1. Install a player from the App Store, for example IPTV Smarters Player Lite or GSE Smart IPTV.
2. Add a new Xtream Codes login and enter your details.
3. On Apple TV 4K, set the video format to match your TV for the cleanest 4K picture.

Windows, Mac and MAG boxes

On a computer, IPTV Smarters for Windows or VLC (using the M3U link) both work. For a MAG box, send the MAC address printed under the box to support and we will add your portal.

Getting a clean 4K picture

• Use a network cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi; allow about 25 Mbps per 4K stream.
• Pick the channel version tagged 4K or UHD in the list.
• In the player settings, choose a hardware decoder and a buffer of 5 to 10 seconds.
• Restart the stick once a week; it clears memory and cuts most freezing.
